As a designer on the Gumtree account, I was tasked with researching trends and designing emails to deliver relevant content that reaches an email base of 6.6 million users a month.

I assisted with content management by analysing data based on user clicks and stayed up to date with marketing strategies.

The series of email campaigns required fresh, creative ideas. I collaborated with the Gumtree team of strategists, copywriters designers and project managers.

 
 

BAU Trends

Trends is a weekly newsletter that inspires users on what to buy or sell this week based on Gumtree’s trending report. I assisted with content management by analysing data based on user clicks and staying up to date with marketing strategies. Through A/B testing with animated banners, we re-engaged users and inspired more clicks.

 
 

I worked alongside design lead Silvana from sketching & wire-framing to testing the user interface with the developing team.

 
 

The campaigns involved having a deeper understanding of the user’s needs by dividing the user journey into segments. From moving house to every step of buying a car, we used personalisation and browser data to help the user and inspire clicks.

 
 

Postcode Landing Page

Following Gumtree’s initiative in ‘The Neighbourhood’s Good’ the brief was to guide users in entering their post code so they can receive local content in their community.
